As I call them, they come.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
My little flock of five.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
They gather around me.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
From the biggest to the littlest they find safety, comfort and assurance<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
in my apron. They wrap themselves around my arms and legs.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
My little flock of five. They gather.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
Brings to mind the image of Jesus saying,<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
\u201cLet the little children come to me and hinder them not<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
for the Kingdom of Heaven belongs to such as these\u201d.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
So glad today that this is my heart\u2019s position. So glad today that my thoughts<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
have come into alignment with His thoughts and I too have welcomed<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
the little children to come to me.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the hem of my apron they find love.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
In the folds of my skirt they find safety and security.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
As they gather, I see a vision of my future.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
They\u2019ve left home but return with spouses and children of their own.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
They gather \u2018round the table to a piping hot spread lying before them.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
My little flock now has their own little flock.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
My children are like olive trees as they gather around the table.<\/p>\n
\u00a0<\/p>\n
I am blessed!<\/p>\n
